Are you looking for a great woodworking or father & son project for the summer? Look no further, I am selling my partially completed Universal Hovercraft UH-10F. The project is just a bit beyond my means at this point and I'd love to see someone see it to completion as I havent made much progress recently!
This is a fully laid out hovercraft hull with 90% of the hardware needed to complete it included. The main missing component at this point would be the engine; you'll need a 10-14hp horizontal shafted engine to drive this beast.

- Hull (10' length, 5' wide fiberglass, wood and foam - unsinkable!) with attached thrust duct

The approximate price for all the supplies (wood, foam etc) plus the kit parts and plans was well over $1000. I am asking $500 OBO.

The UH-10F Entry Level Hovercraft is a great design for first time builders, high school technology classes and home science projects. First time builders and students get hands-on experience in woodworking, fiberglass, small engines, propellers, as well as gaining knowledge in engineering, aerodynamics and physics. This single engine design is both simple and reliable, and has been successfully built and flown by students in hundreds of schools and colleges throughout the world.
Driving the craft is easy as it has only two controls; steering and throttle. Slowly advancing the throttle will bring the craft up on cushion. Adding a little more power accelerates the craft. Speed is easily controlled by increasing or decreasing engine rpm. First time pilots can learn to operate the craft in a very short period of time.
